TRACK & INFRASTRUCTURE
We will manage the complete delivery of any track project providing an integrated project team, from management, CRE’s to Track Labour and everything in between.

Amaro are a multi-disciplinary rail company working across the UK. While we are probably better known for our expertise in signalling, we also undertake works in LV, HV, OLE the P-Way and Civils sector's. Over the last five years, Amaro has gone from strength to strength delivering projects in both mainline and metro infrastructures. Within this brochure you will gain a taste of what we do and how we go about doing it. Our passion is rail and all that goes with it.
Our signalling team is made up of both New Works Testers (TIC’s), G110 Testers, SMTH Testers and fully trained and qualified Signalling Installers. The signalling team can deliver various types of new works schemes including signalling interlocking works, conversion of Level Crossings and track circuits through to conversion of point machines and Axle Counter upgrades. The signalling team also have vast experience in LED Signal Head Conversions, Clamplock’s and Point Machine Renewals, Signal-Box Life Extension works, Wire Degradation removal works, FDM Renewals, Enhancement Schemes, Location Case and REB manufacturing, Signalling Enabling Civils Works through to Signalling Design works.
The E&P team have the skills, capabilities and experience to deliver new Class II Signalling Power Supplies systems including associated PSP’s (Principal Supply Point), various types of Earthing & Bonding works including RSC to spider plates, RSC To rail, RSC to lineside structures, traction bonding, Points Heating, Buffer Stop Lights, Walkway Lighting, Station Lighting through to Shore Supplies.
The HV team are skilled and trained in working on various HV systems including 11KV and 25KV. The HV team are highly skilled in delivering various aspects of HV works including cable renewals, switchgear renewals, SMOS FSKII 25KV Breakers through to specialist testing including partial discharge testing of HV Cables. The HV team hold the competencies to work in both AC & DC Traction Substations and are experienced in working on various SCADA systems and have in house capabilities to deliver both LV & HV design works.
The OLE team are skilled in both design and install of new OLE systems and modernising and upgrading of existing OLE systems. The OLE team have the capabilities to carry out feasibility development, single option development through to detailed design along with all aspects of construction including foundations, specialist structures, renewal and new installs of head-spans, registration arms, etc. through to installation of Rigid Overhead Conductor (ROC) used within tunnels. The OLE team have over the many years carried out Height & Stagger adjustments after various track and civils works and have the skills and expertise to carry out these works safely, quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining the high quality and in accordance with all required standards. The OLE team have also been involved with various campaign changes including renewal of Neutral Sections, Insulator Renewals through to Dropper renewal programmes.
